About Son and Son Guestharbour
Son is a nice little town on the eastern shore of the Oslo fjord. A natural harbor with commerce since the Viking age. With its 1300 permanent berths and 100 guest berths, Son is one of the most visited harbors in Norway and a natural stop in or out from Oslo. Great holiday atmosphere during the summer months. We are open from Easter to late November.
Numerous international skippers frequently visit Son. We speak English and German.
We offer modern sanitary facilities with a washing center, barbecue facilities, harbor office, free Wi-Fi, various shops, including boat accessories, yacht and repair services, fuel, boat washing site and waste water removal. Boats up to 40 meters with a draft of up to 5 meters can berth safely in our sheltered and modern marina. Long side docking or berths with outriggers. All with fresh water, shore power and free internet access. 20 of our berths are bookable through www.dockspot.com
Son is located 12 km north of Moss and 50 km south of Oslo. With only 35 minutes by train to downtown Oslo or 60 minutes by shuttle bus to Oslo International Airport, Son is a perfect location for change of crew. During summer, there is a high-speed ferry connection to Oslo two times per day in the weekends.
